The company supplies technical gases, equipment, systems, and services for the industrial sectors ; and produces and distributes gases, such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, acetylene, nitrous oxide, gas mixtures, high purity gases, food gases, gaseous helium, liquid helium, gases for electronics, ammonia, combustible gases for industrial use, and liquefied natural gas.
It also provides medical gases with AIC and medical devices, training services, electromedical equipment services, hospital hygiene and environmental monitoring, ambulance management, design and development of biobanks, and InfoHealth solutions ; and respiratory and infusion therapies, healthcare and social care services, telemedicine and digital services, and healthcare aids. In addition, the company offers CRYOLAB for transfer, storage and handling services of biological samples ;
DIATHEVA, which focuses on research, development, production, and marketing products, including monoclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins, and molecular kits for hospital research, diagnosis and clinical application, environmental, veterinary, and food ; and PERSONAL GENOMICS for preventive and precision medicine. SOL S.p.A. was founded in 1927 and is headquartered in Monza, Italy. SOL S.p.A. operates as a subsidiary of Gas And Technologies World B.V.
