Against the world ETF
Over 21 years, from April 2005 to September 2026, the share did not clearly beat the world ETF once risk is accounted for. It earned more, but shaking 1.9 times harder: for the risk taken, the ETF paid better.
10 000 € placed at the end of April 2005 are worth today
| Deutsche Börse | 97 979 € |
| World ETF | 72 664 € |
| STOXX Europe 600 | 45 242 € |
| Risk-free placement | 13 076 € |
The risk
- Shaking:the share moves 1.9 times as much as the world ETF.
- Worst fall:-73 % between December 2007 and February 2009. 10 000 € placed at the top fell to 2 680 €. The world ETF, at worst: -49 %. Back to its high in 127 months.
Deutsche Börse earned more than the world ETF since 2005
Value of 10 000 € placed at the end of April 2005, dividends reinvested, in euros
- Deutsche Börse: 97 979 €
- World ETF: 72 664 €
- STOXX Europe 600: 45 242 €
- Risk-free placement: 13 076 €
Share price without dividends; the world ETF and the index reinvest theirs. A dividend payer is therefore understated here.
Based on past performance. This is not a recommendation.
